Marines Coast To Coast Vaccination Activities Targeting Arar Island in Mayamuk District



ThreeNews.Id - SORONG. The Marine Corps of the Indonesian National Navy (TNI AL) continues to aggressively break the chain of the spread of Covid-19 in the working area of ​​the Marine Troops (Pasmar) 3. Commander of the  Marine Troops 3 Brigadier General TNI Mar Y. Rudy Sulistyanto, S.E. accompanied by the Chief Coordinator of the Marine Troops 3 Branch (Korcab Pasmar 3) Mrs. Desy Y. Rudy Sulistyanto directly observed the direct provision of vaccinations to the maritime community which was held on Arar Island (Arar Village) Mayamuk District, Sorong Regency, West Papua on Saturday, (28/08/2021).

Also present at the review were the Assistant Commanders of the Marines 3(Danpasmar 3) , the Commander of the Implementing Command (Dankolak) or the Commander of the Implementing Unit of the Marines 3 (Dansatlak Pasmar ) , all Jalasenastri (the organization of the wives of Indonesian Navy officers) administrators,  the Coordinator of the Marine Troops 3 Branch (Korcab Pasmar 3) and other officers , the Head of the Branch  Coordinator of the Marine Corps 3 (Korcab Pasmar 3).

Using Sea Riders, rubber boats and fishing boats, the group departed from ASDP Port (River, Lake and Ferry Transport). After 15 minutes of traveling along the Arar waters, the group was warmly welcomed by the local community with traditional music.

In this review, the Commander of Pasmar 3 invited the people of Kampung Arar to carry out vaccinations using the Marines Coast to Coast Vaccination method, namely vaccination activities by visiting remote places or islands. This is effective enough to socialize that the implementation of vaccinations that are held is safe and lawful.
On that occasion, the Commander of Pasmar 3 Brigadier General Mar Y. Rudy Sulistyanto, S.E. said that he would continue to administer vaccinations in accordance with the instructions of the TNI AL leader Admiral TNI Yudo Margono, S.E., M.M., and the order of the Marine Corps Commander Major General TNI (Mar) Suhartono to suppress and reduce the spread of Covid-19 in the Pasmar 3 working area.

He further said, as many as 120 doses of Sinovac vaccine that have been prepared for the people of Arar Village are expected to be given to the community evenly.

"We will continue to work closely with the District Health Office to continue vaccinating people whose locations are difficult to reach, so that the government's program of 2 million vaccines a day can be realized," he said.

In a different place, Pasmar 3 in collaboration with the Malawili Health Center held a vaccination activity at the Kota Baru Aimas Square, Sorong Regency. (Pasmar3/Js/Tuk).
