ThreeNews.Id - Information and Library of Sam Ratulangi Air Force Base (Pentak Lanud) Manado. Fear of needles became a common sight at the Indonesian Air Force Base Sam Ratulangi Hospital, Manado during the Children's Special Vaccination attack in the parking lot of the Sam Ratulangi Air Base Hospital, Mapanget Field, Manado, on Wednesday (14/07/2021). The fear of needles was recorded by the Information and Library (Pentak) of Sam Ratulangi Air Force Base (Lanud) during the vaccination attack located at the Balai Prajurit Building in early July.

“We hope that routine vaccination activities can cover all levels of society. Especially those aged twelve to seventeen who live in the vicinity of the Sam Ratulangi Air Force Base, Field Village in the Mapanget sub-district,” explained the Head of the Hospital (Karumkit) Sam Ratulangi Air Base, Major Kes dr. Ahmad Fauzi

Furthermore, he said, the good benefits that will be obtained from the vaccine are increasing immunity against the Corona virus. This will automatically cut off the transmission path of Covid-19. “During the implementation of this vaccination, there are no more significant obstacles. Because people are smart enough and have even realized the importance of vaccination for body resistance in warding off Covid-19," said Major Kes dr. Ahmad Fauzi.

Meanwhile, from what Kristi, a thirteen-year-old teenager said, it is known that at first there was a feeling of nervousness and fear to receive the vaccine, but parental assistance was very helpful mentally for the child to receive the vaccine injection in the upper arm of the vaccine recipient.

Regarding vaccination activities at Sam Ratu Langi Air Base, Putri, a student at one of the universities in Manado said “I am very happy. Thank you to the Government and the Sam Ratulangi Manado Air Force Hospital for initiating vaccinations for us. My hope is that all people will support what the government has programmed.”

In series with the Vaccination Raid, this child vaccination activity is carried out routinely twice a week, Monday and Wednesday at the Sam Ratulangi Air Base Hospital. The scorching heat of the sun did not dampen the enthusiasm of the Mapanget community to come and queue in front of the TNI emergency tent in the parking lot of the Sam Ratulangi Air Base Hospital. The public must have registered online at https://www.vacsinhebat.idsolution.co.id/ by bringing their identification and filling out the form provided for the smooth reception of vaccines. The health protocol is still being enforced in accordance with the orders of the Commander of the Sam Ratulangi Air Base Manado Marsma TNI Mohamad Satriyo Utomo S.H. (jsw/Tuk)
